The line of research investigates recurrent themes in the history of philosophy, from Antiquity to Contemporaneity, related to sensitivity (in a not necessarily gnoseological sense), to beauty, to sublimity, to the tragic and the comic, among others, with a view to understanding important issues of contemporary culture, such as the art/society relationship, the cultural industry, the delimitation of the aesthetic field in the face of other philosophical disciplines, etc.
